Strategist –Store of the Future

 


CHALLENGE: I dentify a grocery channel solution for utilization of $8 billion in industry merchandising resources to compete with the logistics strength of the mass merchandising channel. Senior executive consultant of the Innovation Store of the Future project hired to assist CEO of Global Business Development with P&G’s preferred positioning to elevate its consulting capability by using industry-revered consumer insights to re-optimize the waste of $8 billion in competing manufacturers’ shelf resetting process. Partnered with online and marketing agency teams to identify, fund, and persuade New Business Development Commercial Brand team to apply project solutions for upcoming launches. Supervised a $1 million research budget & 25-person multi-department, inter-agency team. Served as management consultant for 2 additional years on existing and new products portfolio with global responsibilities.

RESULTS:

  • Point-of-Sale Success. $1.8 billion of new industry revenue generated with successful integration of the team’s point-of-sale shopper experience strategy for the inaugural launch of Febreze, Swiffer, & Dryel. 
  • Budget Optimization. Spearheaded the negotiation of integrating 3 team budgets into a single $1 million market-research budget; re-scoped the project outcomes to apply viable commercial processes from other industries to the solution for maximum business development.
  • Benchmarking Innovation. Lobbied and received security clearance for benchmarking of futurist applications of massive amounts of behavior data across industries including government agencies for city transportation/people movement mapping across the U.S. and ground-breaking prototypes of credit card loyalty data banks.
